Join this Workshop to Learn a Practical Approach to hosting a PLANT-BASED Thanksgiving

Meet me in the kitchen the week of Thanksgiving from Sunday to Thursday. In a series of live classes we will review daily steps for to be efficient in getting the meal ready, enjoy a creative activity and even take time to pause for a mindful eating activity. 

I’m not holding back. You will be getting the combination of my great Aunt Thelma's’ closely held family heirloom recipes that are stepped in Fresh cooking techniques that have been modified by me over the last 30 years to be affordable, easy and fully plant-based. And, best of all, you can modify any of the recipes as you need to.

Reinventing is the current theme of the times. This workshop is in part about getting recipes and a kitchen flow in an efficient way so that you can come into the day of Thanksgiving with a plan and meal ready to go with less stress.

TIME EFFICIENT PROCESS

Shopping LIST and recipes will be provided on NOV 15. This ebook will provide a shopping list of all the spices, fresh produce, nuts, grains and beans that you will need to plan for you meal meal.  A link to the craft kit will be provided as well.

Attending the live broadcasts is totally optional and replays will be available in the facebook group and course website. The workshop does not include any food items.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO COOK TO DO THIS CLASS?
This class does not require that you have any kitchen skills. Each recipe will have full explanation in it that will be in the PDF file shared with you on Nov 15 after registering. Then the week of Thanksgiving, you will have an easy to use flowsheet that will help guide you through the week. There will be daily live classes that will highlight the actions for that day. This is a process that has been worked out for you so that you have more ease and connection during Thanksgiving and less stress around meal planning. You can do this class with friends or family to bridge connection and community in this time where many are spending the holidays feeling isolated.

DO I HAVE TO BE PLANT-BASED OR VEGAN TO TAKE THIS CLASS?
Definitely not! This class is a place to be curious and learn from others who are working to incorporate more plants into their diet.

DOES THIS CLASS INCLUDE 1:1 TIME WITH DR. KHALSA?
This is a group-based class that includes live classes in a group format and a facebook group. Dr. Khalsa will make every effort to answer your questions; however the class fees do not include 1:1 time with Dr. Khalsa.

WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE IT TO THE LIVE CLASSES?
There will be a replay of the life classes available on this website in the course area. After you sign up, you will get a sign in for the class for the week. After the live classes have ended they will be shared in the course area.

WHAT FORMAT IS THE EBOOK WITH THE RECIPES AND KITCHEN WORKFLOW?
The ebook is provided as a PDF. Generally this can to be viewed after downloading a free version of the Adobe software. Staff will not be able to provide support on how to download or use the ADOBE software.

HOW LONG WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO THE MATERIAL?
Live recorded material will be available in the course for 60 days after the class. Please be sure to download the material and save to your hard drive. I use Evernote, dropbox or a notes APP to hold onto PDF files over time.
